The history of Forma Futura
The inspiration for Forma Futura came from discussions Antoinette Hunziker-Ebneter had with clients: In addition to pure performance thinking, customers' values should also be taken into account when investing their assets. Their assets should flow into companies that contribute to improving the sustainable quality of life.
We are celebrating our anniversary year! Forma Futura has been committed to the sustainable transformation of the financial system for 20 years. From the very beginning, the asset manager has proven that sustainable investing and a marketable return are not mutually exclusive. Today, two decades later, this message is more relevant than ever. And Forma Futura keeps its finger on the pulse by incorporating current developments, the latest technologies and pioneering trends into all corporate decisions.
Management change at Forma Futura. On May 1, the new management team, co-led by Larissa Jäger and André Utzinger, took over responsibility for day-to-day operations and the strategic development of the company. Antoinette Hunziker-Ebneter, who has shaped Forma Futura as CEO and Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors since day one, remains active as a client advisor and Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors.
Receipt of the license from the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) as a manager of collective assets in May 2023. As such, we have been subject to direct supervision by FINMA since then, which represents another milestone in the development of Forma Futura.
Inclusion on the FinGuide AG platform. The company connects wealthy private individuals with suitable private banks and asset managers. FinGuide creates transparency in the market through digital matching, personal advice and strict quality criteria. Forma Futura qualified thanks to its above-average net returns, transparent cost structure and independent advice.
Receipt of the license as an asset manager for BVG investments from the Occupational Pension Supervisory Commission (OAK BV). The license confirms that Forma Futura has the necessary qualifications to manage pension assets.
Preparation of the first voting recommendations for our clients. Exercising shareholder rights is an important lever for encouraging companies to improve their sustainability performance.
Introduction of systematic dialog with companies in the Forma Futura investment universe. For us, corporate dialog is an integrated and proven tool for reviewing companies in terms of their sustainability credentials.
Founding of Forma Futura Invest AG on November 20, 2006 by Antoinette Hunziker-Ebneter together with the three other founding partners Christian Kobler, Beatrice Zwicky and Harry Korine.
