Artificial intelligence: will technology lead us to a better future?
It is currently on everyone's lips: artificial intelligence, or AI for short. Since the invention of the internet, no new technology has captivated the public so much. Hardly a day goes by without us reading or hearing some prediction about how AI will change our lives. The financial markets are also feeling the hype - the share prices of those companies that are likely to benefit from technological developments are moving in almost only one direction: upwards. But is all the hype justified? What are the opportunities and risks of using AI, and how sustainable can artificial intelligence be? This paper attempts to answer some of these questions in order to create the basis for an informed discussion on a hot topic.
